 Hello, for those of you who don't know me, my name is Micha! I'm a transplant from Texas to the Florida Keys! I moved here about a year ago, and have been living on our sailboat Miss Emily. I brought along minimal belongings, (Eddie would disagree) and my two dogs, Bailey and Max. They have adjusted quite well, and they are loving the sailing lifestyle!! I've grown up around the ocean my whole life... lived on
the coast of Texas, the coast of California, and now Florida. Guess I just can't get away from this lifestyle! I'm a photographer/ bartender/ bar owner/ sailor/ and now a scuba instructor! Eddie and I met a couple of years ago, on my vacation in Miami. We had talked of buying an old sailboat, and sailing to the caribbean. He had that dream for a long time, and I thought what a wonderful life! So he bought Miss Emily himself, and I followed down many months later to join him. She has come a long way since he first bought her (formally known as Spindrift) and he has done a wonderful job! We figured that when we leave the Keys after hurricane season this year, we will have lots more time to work on her. While we are sailing we hope to teach diving to others along the way, and figure out other ways to make money. I'm going to work on my photography portfolio as well, so hopefully people like you will be able to enjoy the sites we visit and our adventures as much as we will!
